Overview

Developed a new method to accurately evaluate forces applied to rail bogies without computationally-intensive dynamic simulations.

  • SRSS (Square Root of Sum of Squares) method
  • CQC (Complete Quadratic Combination) method
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA) combined with experimental data

Results

Achieved precise force measurements with minimal computational burden, enabling more efficient evaluation of bogie behavior for improved rail system designs.
